Grant DuBose started his college career at Miles College in 2019. As a freshman, he finished with 8 receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown. Unfortunately, the 2020 season was cancelled due to COVID. DuBose opted to transfer to Charlotte to continue playing football for the 2021 season.
DuBose immediately made an impact for Charlotte, finishing with 62 receptions for 892 yards and six touchdowns in his first season. This led the team and his 892 yards were seventh in the conference. The following season in 2022, DuBose would lead the team in receptions (64) and receiving touchdowns (9), but finished second on the team in receiving yards (792) behind sophomore Elijah Spencer.
