Greg Dulcich was a hybrid receiver/tight end in high school. Despite having 50 catches for 1,168 yards and 12 touchdowns in his final season at Saint Francis High School in La Cañada Flintridge, California, he still had to walk on at UCLA. His first season as a Bruin (2018), he saw playing time, but didn’t record significant production as a pass catcher. In 2019, Dulcich's production continued to be limited and he was used on special teams, but he did earn a scholarship for the 2020 season.
As a redshirt sophomore in 2020, Dulcich led the Bruins; tight ends with 26 receptions and tied for the team-high with 5 touchdowns. He put up wide receiver numbers at times, recording eight receptions for 167 yards and one touchdown against USC. He also averaged 19.9 yards per reception and saw less than three receptions in only two games. In 2021, he recorded his second year in a row with a Target Share greater than 15-percent and a yards per reception over 15. The highlight of the season was when Dulcich caught nine balls for 136 yards against Arizona State.
Dulcich was selected in the 3rd round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos after measuring in at 6-4 and 243-pounds at the Combine and running a 4.69 (73rd-percentile) 40-time. Playing just 10 games in his rookie season, Dulcich recorded 33 receptions on 55 targets while competing for snaps with Albert Okwuegbunam. Dulcich spent most of the 2023 season sidelined with a hamstring injury. The Broncos also brought in Sean Payton as head coach in 2023 and Adam Trautman, who will compete with Dulcich for snaps at the tight end position.
