Hunter Luepke was a part of the North Dakota State 2018 recruiting class. While he was merely a two-star recruit, Luepke proved valuable to the North Dakota State program. Primarily used as a fullback, Luepke rushed for at least 450 yards in three of four seasons playing for the Bison.
Luepke’s best season came in 2022 where he ran the ball 98 times for 621 yards and scored nine touchdowns on the ground. He also caught 14 passes for 196 yards and added four more touchdowns as a receiver. Throughout his career Luepke averaged 6.1 yards per carry and scored a total of 33 touchdowns. Luepke was also named the 2022 NCAA Championship Games Most Outstanding Player.
