Isaiah Weston was a 3-star prospect out of St. Michael-Albertville high school in Albertville, MN. He was ranked number 18 among prospects coming out of Minnesota in the 2016 class. After receiving offers from South Dakota State and Northern Iowa, he chose the latter. After 6 years at University of Northern Iowa, Isaiah Weston is finally coming out. Redshirting his freshman season, he started in 5 games the following season. He caught 22 balls for 380 yards. He missed the following year due to injury. He played in 2019, the 2021 spring season, and the 2021 fall season. Across those 3 years he accumulated 2,088 yards at a very efficient 23 yards per reception.
At the Combine, he came in at 6-4 214lbs, but he’ll be 25 when the NFL season starts. Although he had 97th percentile Speed and Burst score, he wasn’t consistent enough early in his career against lower quality competition. Projected to go in the 7th round, he’s not worth a bench or taxi squad spot. He could end up being Adam Thielen, but that’s such a long shot.
Isaiah Weston was a UDFA signed by the Cleveland Browns following the 2022 NFL Draft. Not draftable. Even with limited competition, he’s not someone to have on your radar.
