Jake Bobo was a three-star recruit that joined Duke as a member of their 2018 recruiting class. During his two seasons with Duke, he appeared in 16 games, but only caught 20 total passes for 289 yards. 2020 was Bobo's first season as a regular contributor, as he led the team in receiving yards with 358 yards.
Duke's scoring offense was outside the top-100 in 2021, but Bobo still finished with 74 receptions for 794 yards to lead Duke. After the season, he opted to transfer as a graduate to go play at UCLA. UCLA finished as the eighth-ranked scoring offense in 2022 and Bobo led the team in receptions (57), receiving yards (817), and receiving touchdowns (7). All three receiving marks were top-10 marks in the Pac-12 conference for the 2022 season.
