Jayden Reed is off the Packers NFI list and practicing.
Jayden Reed has been removed from the NFI list. An update to a previous report, the Packers wideout has been removed from the non football injury list. The second year wideout will practice in a limited capacity today. It is not yet clear when he will participate fully yet, but this is great news for the Packers and fantasy managers with shares of Reed.
Reed practicing in a limited capacity and being off of the list is a step in the right direction for the Packers wideout. Reed is currently the most expensive Packers receiving option at wr35 on underdog after a surprising rookie campaign. If you remain bullish on Reed, the NFI news is just a blip on the radar for you.

Jayden Reed Starts camp on NFI list for the Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers moved three players to their non football injury list as they opened camp today. The most notable of the bunch was second year wide receiver Jayden Reed. Reed is set to begin training camp on the NFI list, but can be activated at any point. The injury has not yet been disclosed.
Reed is set up for a big time year two in what projects to be an elite offense as he is locked into a key role in the Pacers offense for 2024. The NFI list designation is not something to be overly concerned with, but if it is revealed that he is managing an injury throughout camp, proceed with caution as redraft season is fast apporaching.
After missing the first three weeks of the 2023 season with a hamstring injury, 2022 Rookie Phenom, wide receiver Christian Watson will return to the field on Thursday Night Football as the Green Bay Packers face the Detroit Lions in a division matchup. Barring any setbacks, Watson will help provide quarterback Jordan Love with his full compliment of offensive weapons, if Aaron Jones can also return after injury.
Watson broke out in 2022 and shared the rookie wide receiver touchdown lead of 7 with Jahan Dotson. He added 2 rushing touchdowns, as well. Watson hopes to return to productivity and told reporters he had “planned to play.” The news was broken by Jordan Schultz via Twitter.
While Watson’s return could signify an increase in performance from Love and the offense as a whole, it may lead to decreased roles for wideouts Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, and Luke Musgrave, all of whom expanded their roles in his absence. Rookie wideouts Reed and Wicks appear to be the two that will be the most affected by Watson’s target share.
