Chiefs WR Justyn Ross, suspended 6 games by the NFL from a domestic violence incident from October, eligible to return in Week 15
Justyn Ross has spent the past 5 games on the Commissioner’s Exempt List and has been credited for those games. Ross is eligible to return in Week 15 when the Chiefs head into New England to face the Patriots. After going undrafted and missing his entire rookie season with a foot injury, Ross appeared to be a great comeback story of the 2023 preseason making the 53 man roster.
Ross played in 7 games for the Chiefs this year, earning a mere 6 targets that led to 3 receptions for 34 yards. Ross is worth keeping an eye as a deep stash moving forward, as the Chiefs are desperate for playmakers at wide receiver.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Justyn Ross has been arrested on Domestic Violence charges in Kansas.
Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross has been arrested at his home in Shawnee, Kansas. Police responded to a 9-1-1 call made by Ross’ girlfriend following a domestic incident. Ross is alleged to have ransacked the couple’s apartment and destroyed his girlfriend’s cell phone.
The Clemson product had been used sparingly in the Chiefs’ offense this season. His personal story had become one of the “feel-good” comeback tales this past pre-season as Ross had to overcome various ailments to make an NFL roster.
There is no indication that Ross will miss any games, but a team and/or league suspension could be handed down at some point.
Update:
NFL placed Chiefs’ WR Justyn Ross on the Commissioner Exempt List today following his arrest Monday for misdemeanor domestic battery and misdemeanor property damage. He pleaded not guilty to both charges.
