The Cardinals have cut ties with Keaontay Ingram after picking up Michael Carter.
The Arizona Cardinals have officially released Keaontay Ingram due to a crowded backfield. With Michael Carter claimed two weeks ago and James Conner back in the starting lineup after recovering from a knee injury, Ingram became the odd man out. He was inactive last week and hasn’t been part of the offense since Week 6 against the Rams.
Looking ahead, the Cardinals have announced their top three running backs as James Conner, Emari Demercado, and Michael Carter. Regrettably, Keaontay Ingram’s time in Arizona has concluded. During his tenure, he had 62 rushing attempts, gained 134 yards, scored two touchdowns, and maintained a disappointing 2.2 yards per carry average.
