Kearis Jackson entered college football as a four-star prospect and committed to Georgia as a member of their 2018 recruiting class. He redshirted his first season and through his first two seasons only had five receptions in five games.
2020 saw Jackson make a leap and lead the team in receiving yards (514) on an offense with future Day 2 NFL draft picks in George Pickens, James Cook, and Tre' McKitty. 2021 saw Jackson move down the pecking order, finishing seventh in receiving yards (194) for the 2021 National Championship team. In his final season in 2022, Jackson again finished down the receiving pecking order with the sixth-most receiving yards (320) for another National Championship team.
