Keaton Mitchell is a former 3-star recruit who was recruited to Eastern Carolina University as a part of their 2020 recruiting class. The thing that sticks out when evaluating Mitchell is his speed. It's hard to ignore someone who can run a 4.37 40-yard dash, which ranks in the 99th-percentile amongst running backs, and it's hard to ignore the college production.
Mitchell put up back to back 1,000 rushing yard seasons at ECU. He finished his career on a high note by rushing for 1,452 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2022. He also caught 27 passes for 252 yards in that same season. There is no denying the speed or the college production. The big question mark will be how do NFL teams feel about his slender 5-8 179-pound frame?
