Kendall Milton Signs With Eagles As UDFA
Former University of Georgia running back Kendall Milton ...
Despite lacking the top-end speed of the other skill-position players, the former Georgia standout put forth a decent showing in Indianapolis.
Although former Georgia running back Kendall Milton’s 4.62-second 40-yard dash time didn’t jump off the page, he showed off the elite size and explosiveness that made the Bulldogs’ rushing attack so difficult to stop during his time in Athens. Standing at 6’2″ and weighing 225 pounds, Milton profiles physically as exactly what you want in an NFL tailback. Add in his 10’4″ broad jump and 35.5-inch vertical jump, and you have a solid, all-around explosive athlete who would typically project well at the next level.
In addition to grading out well in terms of explosiveness and size, Milton displayed solid strength in muscling out 18 reps at 225 pounds in the bench press. So, while Milton projects as a late-round pick in April, he served himself well with his performance this past weekend. With prolific size and a wealth of experience playing at one of the elite programs in college football, he cannot be completely overlooked by fantasy managers.
