Keylon Stokes joined Tulsa in 2017 as a three-star recruit. He appeared in seven games as a true freshman and caught six passes for 143 scoreless yards. The following season, Stokes led the team in receptions (41) and receiving yards (575), while adding another 104 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. As a junior in 2019, Stokes surpassed the 1000 yard mark as Tulsa's leading receiver.
2020 would mark the first of three-consecutive senior seasons for Stokes. The pandemic season did not allow Stokes enough opportunity to showcase for the NFL, despite again leading the team in receiving. A torn quad in 2021 would limit Stokes to four games and take a redshirt season. 2022 was his sixth season with the team, where he put up career best marks in receptions (76) receiving yards (1224), and receiving touchdowns (8). He finished his lengthy career second in American Athletic Conference history in career receiving yards (3774).
