The Bears drafted Yale’s Offensive Lineman Kiran Amegadjie with the 75th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
With the 75th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Bears have selected offensive lineman Kiran Amegadjie out of Yale University. Amegadjie has played at Right Guard in 2021, where he started all 10 games and received Honorable Mention All-Ivy League. He made the switch to Left Tackle in 2022 and 2023 where he played in 14 games combined, receiving First-Team All-Ivy League in both seasons.
Amegadjie did not go to the NFL Combine this year, but the 6’5″ 323-pound offense lineman showed in college he can play anywhere on the OL. Look for Amegadjie most likely playing inside at one of the guard positions, but can make his way to tackle baring injuries.
He will be responsible to protect their new franchise quarterback in Caleb Williams. He can play both inside and out, and expect to see him taking the field to help out with his big size and long arms.
