Former Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide receiver Martavis Bryant is signing with the Dallas Cowboys
Jerry Jones described the feeling of winning a championship as “an absolute glory hole” this week in interview. He’s putting his money where his mouth is with the signing of Martavis Bryant. Bryant hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2018 season where he appeared in eight games for the then Oakland Raiders. He was subsequently suspended for substance abuse issues and hasn’t been back in the NFL since. However, Bryant has played recently in the XFL where he accumulated 154 yards in eight games.
While fantasy managers may remember the big plays from Bryant in Pittsburgh, he can remain on waiver wires. A long layoff and an unimpressive stint in the XFL make him a long shot to even get on the field for the Cowboys. For now he remains on the practice squad and will serve as a depth piece in their wide receiver room.
