New England Patriots defensive end Matthew Judon agreed to an adjusted contract for 2023.
The Patriots have given Matthew Judon a contract adjustment that will increase his 2023 guaranteed money. Originally guaranteed $2 million, Judon now gets $14 million fully guaranteed this upcoming season. New England had initially signed Judon to a 4-year, $54 million-dollar deal back in 2021 and he has earned Pro Bowl honors in both seasons as a Patriot.
Since signing with New England in 2021, Judon has recorded 28 total sacks. In 2022, he finished top-five among edge rushers in both sacks and pressures, establishing himself as a cornerstone of the Patriots’ defense. Now, New England rewards Judon with more guaranteed money and a chance to earn up to $18 million this season.
