Matt Landers began his career as a three-star prospects out of St. Petersburg High School in Tampa,FL. Landers was named All-Region, All-Tampa and ranked Top 100 nationally at the Wide Receiver position according to 247Sports.com.
After beginning his career at Georgia, he saw action in 25 games while only catching 12 total footballs for 132 yards. After the covid season, Landers jumped into the Transfer Portal and headed north to Toledo. As a Redshirt Junior, Landers pulled in 20 receptions for 514 yards and 5 touchdowns, leading the Rockets in YPR and scoring three touchdowns over 80 yards. In 2022, Landers went back to the SEC, this time to Arkansas where he enjoyed his best season yet, leading the Razorbacks with 901 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns.
