Mitchell Trubisky

After a couple of seasons with the Steelers, the Bills bring back Mitchell Trubisky to back-up All-World Josh Allen. After releasing several players earlier in the day to clear up cap space, the Bills made it a priority to fill in a major need by getting a back- up for Allen. The Bills also swiftly re-signed safety Taylor Rapp to a three-year $14.5 million deal as well. Although it’s a different offensive scheme since the last time Trubisky was with the team, the Bills know what kind of skillset he can bring to the club.

Over the last two seasons with Pittsburg, Trubisky played in 12 games. At times it felt like the Steelers were playing musical chairs at quarterback, but at least the veteran saw some game action while his time there. During that span, Trubisky totaled 1,884 yards passing, eight touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.

In standard leagues, Trubisky should be left on the waiver wire. The only way you would even consider rostering him in dynasty leagues is in deeper 2-quarterback or super-flex leagues. Especially if you are the one rostering Allen and have weak back ups.
