Tanner McKee has had a long, interesting ride to the NFL - In 2017, he competed in the Army All-American Bowl and was an Elite 11 Finalist. After committing to Stanford as a 4-star recruit, McKee spent two years in Brazil on an LDS mission, which is what allowed him to spend 5 years in college, while still being a 3rd year sophomore on paper.
As a Quarterback at Stanford, McKee was unable to elevate the Cardinal offense in 2021 or 2022, finishing outside the Top-100 in scoring in each season. Personal accolades include, efficiency and total numbers falling in 2022 from 65% to 62% and 7.4 yards per attempt, down to 6.9. McKee was a player to watch entering the season, with upside to be a 2nd-3rd round pick in the draft, it is now up for question whether McKee will be drafted on Day 3.
