The 2024 Falcons are showing signs of having chemistry on and off the field.
Falcons beat reporter Marc Raimondi reports that quarterback Kirk Cousins is staying in the same room as fellow quarterbacks Taylor Heinicke and Michael Penix Jr. Of note, the trio is also rooming with tight end Kyle Pitts.
While Cousins is making jokes about the temperature setting with his roommates, it is good hearing that core offensive players are spending the maximum amount of time together while at training camp. Kyle Pitts is smart to stick around his quarterbacks as all he wants this year are targets en masse.
Currently, Kyle Pitts goes at the 5-6 turn on UnderDog while Kirk Cousins is going in round 13. For custodian builds and superflex contests, Michael Penix Jr. is a free pick in round 18. Investing in the Falcons offense will prove to be profitable in 2024.

Taylor Heinicke Named Atlanta Falcons Starter For Week 9
Taylor Heinicke Named Starter For Week 9. In a not-so-surprising move, Coach Arthur Smith benches Desmond Ridder for veteran Taylor Heinicke.
In week 8, Ridder started the game but was pulled in the second half. Ridder was checked for a concussion but was cleared to return. In the second half, Taylor Heinicke completed 12 of 21 passes for 175 yards and one touchdown, with zero interceptions in the second half of the week 8 game.
This move to the veteran is an upgrade to the Falcons passing game. Heinicke has proved in the past that he is capable as a starter in the NFL. In nine games in 2022, Heinicke had a 62.2% completion percentage with 1,859 passing yards and 12 touchdowns. This is an upgrade for Kyle Pitts, Drake London, and the rest of the Falcon’s offense.
