Tyree Jackson

The Washington Commanders have added veteran tight end Tyree Jackson to their practice squad, according to sources. Jackson, 25, joins the team after spending time with the New York Giants last season. The 6-foot-7, 249-pound tight end brings valuable experience to Washington’s depth chart at the position.

Jackson, originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020, has also had a stint with the Buffalo Bills. The move bolsters the Commanders’ tight end group as they look to strengthen their roster for the remainder of the season.

The former college quarterback has shown potential as a versatile weapon with size and athleticism, and Washington will look to develop him further on the practice squad.
