Tyrone Tracy Jr. is currently a running back for the New York Giants. Tyrone was drafted in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL draft, where he will compete as a back up. Tyrone played high school football in Indianapolis, Indiana becoming a three star running back prospect. He would commit to the University of Iowa. Despite coming out of high school as a running back, Iowa chose to place him as a receiver on the roster. He was able to make the field, but his end of season statistics weren't impressive.
There would be a massive change on the career path of Tracy, as he would transfer to Purdue University. That wouldnt be the only change- he also made the transition to be a running back for the Boilermakers. He averages 6.6 yards per carry as a senior, and his ability as a former receiver bodes well for his future prospects as a running back in the NFL.
