The 2021 Harlon Hill Trophy Winner, and First Team Division II All-American, Tyson Bagent brings moxy, energy and pure arm talent to the NFL draft process. In 2021 and 2022 combine, Bagent amassed 9,580 passing yards and 102 total touchdowns, while completing passes at a 69% clip. Statlines you would expect from a Division II Quarterback with NFL aspirations.
Bagent had the oppertunity to transfer away from Shepherd after the 2021 season, and move up to a bigger school like Virginia Tech or West Virginia - Tyson decided against it and returned to Shepherd for the 2022 season, where they finished 13-2 for the second consecutive season and unfortunately lost again in the National Semifinals.
