Xavier Worthy is a wide receiver who spent three seasons at the University of Texas. Prior to his time with the Longhorn, he attended high school in California at Central East in Fresno, California. He was a highly recruited player earning All-American honors in his senior season. Worthy went on to commit to the University of Michigan before ultimately deciding on Texas.
During his time at Texas there he accumulated many accolades including earning All-Big 12 honors each of his three years with the Longhorns. Worthy was an instant impact player accumulating 981 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns on 16.8 yards per catch as a freshman. He went on to top 1000 yards as a junior in a talented Texas receiving room before declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft.
At the NFL Combine, Worthy made a name for himself early breaking the 40-yard dash record previously held by John Ross. With a 4.21 official time he is one of the most electric players in the class and certainly helped himself ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft. Look for him to be selected in the first 45 selections and be highly coveted in 2024 fantasy football drafts.
