Dan Fornek is a Fantasy Analyst and Offensive Line Expert for PlayerProfiler. His story began as a former middling high school tight end who converted to an offensive lineman as a walk-on at the University of Dayton. Dan took that experience and parlayed it into a career with the Flyers. As a result, Dan became a three-year letter winner and two-year starter (and all-conference player) for teams that went 28-6 and averaged 29.5 points per game over three seasons. After playing, he became a high school football coach for 10 years at the 8A level of Illinois and the 6A level of Indiana. In that time, he coached linebackers, offensive line, tight ends, wide receivers, and running backs. Additionally, Dan has helped develop numerous collegiate football players at all levels of competition.
Those experiences have helped Dan as a fantasy football analyst over the last five years when publishing articles for websites like The TFFGurus, Rotoballer, and FTN. Dan has produced content for all league types over the years but has carved out a role focusing on the impact of offensive line play in fantasy football. He is an avid best-ball player and finished inside the top 120 in Underdog Fantasy’s Best Ball Mania III in 2022.
Dan mixes his playing background and understanding of football with an English teacher background to provide fantasy gamers with easy-to-understand breakdowns of complex topics to help fantasy gamers find success in their fantasy leagues. Dan’s thoughts on fantasy football and offensive line play can be found on PlayerProfiler or his Twitter account (@fornekdf).
