While he is an experienced writer and editor, Ted Chmyz is first and foremost a fantasy football addict and fantasy football analyst. His love for fantasy football was first sparked at 14 years old when he drafted Josh Gordon in THAT 2013 season en route to his first of many fantasy football championships. Since then, he has not been able to get enough of the world’s best game. Ted will take any chance to play or write about every format of fantasy football, from Redraft to Dynasty to Best Ball, and everything in between. While he’s certainly more of a stats nerd than a film bro, Ted leaves no stone unturned when looking for an edge — he watches every single game, every Sunday, all at once.  

Since making his fantasy-writing debut for PlayerProfiler in 2021 as a fantasy football analyst, Ted has written hundreds of fantasy football articles, mostly for DrRoto.com, where he previously served as the Managing Editor. He has also spent countless hours using a combination of Google Sheets and some truly horrific self-taught R skills to calculate new stats using publicly available data. Top 10 Fantasy Football Stacks With League-Winning Potential

Multiple factors go into finding the perfect stack. While stacking a quarterback with any of his pass-catchers can be helpful, it is most effective with a quarterback's top weapon or, at the very least, a player projected to see a high target share. And, given that the whole point of a stack is to have correlated upside, it's important that both players in a stack come with high-ceiling outcomes. Finally, as always, the most important factor to consider when targeting a stack is cost. We don't play fantasy football in a vacuum, so every decision must always be evaluated through a lens of draft capital and opportunity cost. Darren Waller has shown he can produce with the very best tight ends, and receivers, in the NFL. His path to continued targets is clear, for this year and beyond. While his age is a concern, his recent breakout means his metaphorical tires have less tread than players younger than him. There’s little standing in the way of him producing as a top tight end for the foreseeable future. There are reasons to think twice about spending a premium pick on George Kittle. An injury history for a player approaching age 30 can never be ignored, especially in dynasty formats. The 49ers other receiving options are much more talented than they were when Kittle first broke onto the scene. But the Tight End University founder's superstar talent is undeniable. His statistical profile points to the same conclusion as the eye test. He is a special player who will be a top fantasy tight end for years to come.

Three Veteran WRs Poised to Thrive in New Situations

With elite efficiency, the only thing missing for Corey Davis to emerge as a top 20 wide receiver is volume. Luckily, he finds himself on a Jets team that should be a perfect storm of opportunity. New York features a barren WR room and young gunslinger quarterback that should be slinging it early and often thanks to a bottom-10 defense. All signs point to Davis finally coming good on his hype and easily outperforming his draft position in 2021. Continuing to get valuable touches on the ground, combined with increased opportunity through the air as the guaranteed number two target in the offense, can only lead to good things for Curtis Samuel. Don’t let the semi-unconventional way he scored his points fool you: Samuel was a top 25 receiver last year, and should easily be in that range again this year at the bargain price of a double-digit round pick.
